Ten members attended a relaxed meeting at Mettingham Village Hall near Bungay on 1st October – a different venue for us – where a few items were either displayed, worked on or traded. A bonus was some proper “cream tea” refreshments provided by Richard and Sarah.
A lovely model of a WHR Moel Tryfan Bagnall locomotive recently bought by Richard, named “Meld”. It runs on an Arnold chassis.Inspired by the fresh fish stalls in Aldeburgh, this is a 16mm model being built by Alan, all made using only card.Martin was working on couplings for “Longstone Park” and is developing an interesting method using rigid bars and magnets.
