Not too many members were able to get to this months meeting, with about ten or eleven people attending. Still, a few models to see and also a new US logging layout by Richard which was being track tested.
Alan displayed this O scale Renault Paris Autobus railbus conversion for O-16.5 scale.A US Doodlebug Railcar (HOn30) obtained by Richard looks great with the exposed radiator and headlamp. Two nearly complete O9 Simplex Druid diesels in different liveries displayed by Graham and Ray. Apart from drivers, we are going to add guard rails on the front of the footplate that were shown on the original. Another new O9 scale loco by Graham, this time a Ruston & Hornsby.Bills Tank wagon in 1:16 scale, and a chassis for a new side door open wagon.Three more of Richard’s On30 locos – two Shays and a Baldwin – seen on the layout board shown below.Richard’s compact (42″ x 20″) On30 US logging layout being tested just after the track being laid.
