Our eighth Anniversary meeting was held on 5th March when about 13 members attended. Along with a great chocolate cake by Sarah, we had various bacon/sausage/egg rolls cooked at lunchtime by villagers Carol and Zane, the rolls were just the job, thank you.
Most members were working at tables on models, one of my layouts was tested to get ready for this years exhibitions. There are photos shown below:-
A Marsh Creek Miniatures 3D printed H0n30 Baldwin running on Bachmann “Skarloey” chassis for the “Empire City Railway” by Richard Doe.Richard also displayed this PECO 009 L&BR 8 ton bogie Goods/Brake Van now repainted in Beccles & Bungay Railway livery.
Above: Track is now being laid on Davids 009/HOe coffee table layout that lowers into the tables frame.
Above: Graham bought along his 009 layout “Shortwaite Hill” to test for upcoming exhibitions. Bagnall saddle tank “Willow” is seen leaving Stonegate and “Rowan” is pictured leaving the goods siding at Stonegate.
Graham also displayed two O9 bogie coaches now complete made from kit sides and scratch running on Dundas DM11 bogies.

Neville was making a H0n3 Caboose kit by Model Railroad General StoreMalcolm was adding glazing and internal cab details to his 16mm Simplex.Stuart was making a “proposed” W&LLR coach body using laser cut acrylic with card overlay.Stewart was making TT scale fencing from a Scale Model Scenery kit.Alan was making a trench bank adding damaged timber baulking.
