Norfolk & Suffolk Narrow Gauge Modellers

We had 15 members meet in Barsham on March 7th, most people were making projects on the day, here are a few photos.

Ray has finished a O9 FK3d printed tram saddle tank on a Kato 109.
Stuart was working on a 4mm Scale Model Scenery coach house and stables. He’s also finished two of their cottage kits seen above and below:-
Chris has finished scratchbuilding two 7mm buildings for his layout thats under construction, all built from plastic sheet and strip, see above and below:-

Work Tables:-

Nigel has been building some 16mm loco and coaches. The loco is a IP Engineering Albert diesel. The coaches are Houston Gate Locomotive Works kits.
Nigel has recently won in a competition a 2 1/2” gauge live steam BR 14xx loco.
After various admin duties Richard started building a Airfix 1/76 AEC Matador truck for his next wartime layout.
Mike was continuing with construction of a HO Faller station building kit.
Alan F was working on a OO Metcalfe chip shop kit and has also started stratchbuilding one in 16mm.
Alan also made a 16mm girder support. Both from card.
Bill started building a 1:16 scale coach similar to the one at the front of the photo.
Geoff was painting brickwork for a 7mm mill dock and platform walling.
George started kit bashing a OO Dapol pug into a 009 Pugbash.
David C was continuing to tweak the DCC electronics on his 009 layout.
Ray was starting to assemble some Peco O.16.5/NG7 Glyn Valley Tramway open wagons.
Alan C was fitting a DCC sound chip to a Gn15 Lister Blackstone 3d print. The body fits onto a Smokey Joe chassis.
Harry was continuing Wills Craftsmen Series post office kit. The windows and doors have to be cut out of the plastic sheet.
Neville was planning a 7mm cottage and stable building with a view to kitbash two Fair Price model laser cut kits.
