February 2024 Meeting

Norfolk & Suffolk Narrow Gauge Modellers

I believe there were 17 members meeting at Barsham on 3rd February and with the tables out the village hall was virtually full with our usual mix of displayed stock, layout testing and members modelling at tables. Richard kindly collected a fish and chip lunch for everyone, not only that, he brings along tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes every meeting.

Looks like Graham has been sticking bits of wood together again providing this set of 2ft wide display shelves for the Group to display stock on. The NSNGM engraved plates were kindly made by Stuart.

Work Tables:

David was programming a stepper motor for rail access to his 009 roundhouse engine shed.
John was working on platelayers tools for his SM32 works loco.
Geoff was continuing to add details to his O-16.5 wagons.
Malcolm has been discovering home made resin 3D prints for these excellent 16mm scale figures.
Stuart is building this O9 scale micro layout for his “Norfolk & Suffolk Estates” railway.
Excellent 7mm kits built by Stuart.
Nigel was assembling chassis parts and strengthening this German GHET1 card railbus kit.
Bill has started a wagon using 1:12 scale.
A 7mm building built by Ray for a small O-16.5 layout. He was adding roof tiles.
Mike was building this TT scale Auhagen Sanding Bunker kit.
George was building 009 kits, and displayed this French Pechot-Bourdon Fairlie loco.
Richard was building this Peco (5400) Cricket Pavilion.
Some of Malcolm’s finely 3D printed and made up hinges for a 16mm cattle van.
Neville was adding more drivers and firemen to his HOn3 US locos.
