There was a packed village hall for our first meeting of 2024 with 21 members/visitors. Later this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Group and to mark the upcoming occasion we thought we would update our Test Track, so two of our members set about making a new board, adding a built-in transformer, controller, and a multi-way switch, – all a big improvement on the original board which had actually served us well from the day of the first meeting on 3rd March 2014. The test track is also to be joined by a Display Stand to enable us to show models on any occasion.
Also this month one of our original members is celebrating a special birthday, and he was presented with a cake made by Sarah, thank you to her, and Happy Birthday Jim.
Bellow are some photographs from the meeting:-
