November 2023 Meeting

Norfolk & Suffolk Narrow Gauge Modellers

We had 14 members attend our November meeting. Unfortunately there were very few completed models on the test track this month, but most members were working on new projects at work tables. After a fish’n’chip lunch we discussed some of next years events.

Graham displayed these O9 scale models. He had recently purchased a second-hand collection, and the blue Avalon Line freelance diesel is a re-painted model from that collection. The coach is a new model, recently built. The green loco is thought to be a Springside kit.

Two O-16.5 coaches built by Ray using Peco coach sides. During the meeting he was making seats for them.

Work Tables:-

George was building a 009 railbus using the Peco Modelscene Maudslay bus and a Tomytec chassis.
Richard was building an HO scale Busch US wooden general store.
Nigel was continuing to adapt OO freelance diesels for use in O-16.5 scale.
Stewart was sorting and cleaning up an assorted pack of 3D printed gravestones.
Neville was building the main units of a Pola HO scale Old Coal Mine kit. He is going to use parts of the building on his US layout.
Stuart was constructing excellent home made laser cut mdf parts for a US On30 diorama.
Some of Davids home made 3D printed 009 models.
David also displayed this tiny Rokuhan Z gauge ready to run layout. Using his N scale 3D body prints it can become Nn3 3ft narrow gauge.
Geoff was adding axle boxes and brake levers by 422 Model Making to his O-16.5 wagons.
Mike was continuing to build this Auhagen Freight Shed.
