Built in the late nineteenth century the Rio Grande Southern Railrod was built to serve silver and gold mines in the San Juan mountains in Colorado, USA.

This H0n3 (3 foot gauge) line now hauls livestock, lumber, oil and agricultural produce, though the population has dropped and there are less passengers nowadays, hence you may see a "Galloping Goose" on occasions.  The layout is powered by DCC with sound. Layout now owned privately.
