June 2019 Meeting

Around fifteen members attended our meeting on June 3rd.  Several people were working on models, and we all had a busy meeting talking about all sorts of projects and models.  Scales displayed this time varied between 4mm and 16mm.  Here are some photos from the meeting.

Geoff displayed his recently built radio controlled rail bus in 0-16.5 running on a modified Hornby 0-4-0 mechanism with a Lime front bogie.           The rail bus from the front showing it's character.
Atlas Editions SLM Steam Tram, 009 gauge displayed by Stewart.              Bachmann "Rusty" displayed by Richard. 
16mm Armoured Simplex loco displayed by Richard, a Swift Sixteen kit.. The Simplex was purchased recently along with several other models, some are shown here.
Graham has now repainted his 1980's Jouef Decauville loco which was bought in excellent condition and is now in use on his layout "Shortwaite Hill". He has also recently built several four-wheeled passenger coaches from kits, seen here behind Bagnall "Willow".
This Gn15 scale Ruston was displayed by Martin.  He is improving wagons for a fencing train for "Longstone Park". He worked on this Creosote tank wagon at the meeting and it went home looking muck more realistic with stains and grime.
Jim displayed another recent 009 purchase by an unknown maker, this steam loco with articulated coach trailer. Peter displayed this very well made Alice class Hunslet by Brian Madge.
